BIENVENUE SUR LE SITE DU SÉMINAIRE INTERDISCIPLINAIRE « L’ALCOOL AU FEMININ : SPÉCIFICITÉS, ENJEUX ET PERSPECTIVES »

Alcoholism is a real multifactorial public health problem that requires multidisciplinary care. Long considered a typically male disease, it is increasingly affecting women. Beyond alcoholism, the use of alcohol by women and its consequences require special attention from researchers, public authorities and professionals in the field of addiction.

In order to address this issue, which is still too little addressed, we propose a half-day rich in interventions and exchanges through the prism of different disciplines (medicine, epidemiology, sociology, social marketing, etc.). Throughout the morning, experts will present the consequences of alcohol consumption specific to women, the gendered differences in the way alcohol is represented, and the prevention actions implemented in France. A round table discussion with experts, but also expert patients and representatives of associations, will close the seminar.

This seminar will take place on the morning of Wednesday 2 June 2021 by videoconference and is organised by doctoral students who are members of the Réseau Doctoral en Santé Publique, run by the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Santé Publique. Registration is free, but mandatory.

We look forward to seeing you there!
